RippleVids ("RippleVids", "we", "us", or "our") is operated by RippleBids LLC (Ohio). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you access or use the RippleVids platform.

1. Eligibility

RippleVids is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors; if we learn that information has been collected from a minor we will delete it promptly.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Email address
  • Username
  • Password (hashed; never stored in plaintext)
  • Profile photo
  • User-generated content (videos, comments, likes, messages, tips, interactions)

2.2 Wallet & Blockchain Information

  • Public wallet addresses associated with your account
  • On-chain transaction identifiers (hashes)
  • Blockchain activity linked to your account when you interact on-chain (tips, rewards)

Important: Blockchain transactions are public by design; RippleVids cannot alter, delete, or anonymize blockchain records.

2.3 Device & Application Data

  • Device type and operating system
  • Application version
  • Limited browser data and locally stored application keys
  • Error logs and crash diagnostics (performance & security)

We do not collect precise location data and we do not use tracking cookies.

3. Content Visibility

Content is public by default. Users must be logged in to interact (comment, like, tip, message). Content may be viewed, shared, or embedded according to platform functionality.

4. Self-Custody Wallet Security & Encryption

RippleVids uses a self-custody, client-side encryption architecture.

4.1 What Is Stored

Only encrypted payloads and salts/IVs are stored. These values are cryptographically useless without the user’s password, email, and the platform master key.

4.2 Encryption & Decryption Process

All wallet generation, encryption, and decryption occur on the client. Private keys exist only temporarily in device memory during decryption.

4.3 Security Guarantee

RippleVids never has access to raw private keys, wallet passwords, or decrypted wallet data. In a database breach attackers would only obtain double-encrypted ciphertext.

  • Distribute creator rewards in XRPB
  • Improve performance, security, and reliability
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

6. Monetization, Rewards & Blockchain Transactions

RippleVids does not process off-chain payments — all value transfers occur via blockchain. Tips are irreversible; rewards are distributed in XRPB. RippleVids is not a financial institution or payment processor.

7. Advertising & Promotions

We do not currently display ads. Any future advertising will comply with this Policy and applicable law.

8. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We may share information with cloud providers, internal analytics systems, or when required by law. We do not sell personal data.

9. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may delete your account at any time. Some data may persist where required by law or blockchain immutability.

10. User Rights

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents may request information about collected personal data, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal data (we do not sell personal data).

12. European & UK Users (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Legal bases for processing include contractual necessity, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent where applicable.

13. Blockchain Transparency Disclaimer

Blockchain data is public and immutable. RippleVids cannot modify or erase on-chain records; on-chain privacy depends on user behavior and wallet usage.

RippleVids does not provide investment, tax, or financial advice. Blockchain transactions are made at your own risk.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically; changes become effective upon posting. We recommend checking this page for updates.
